Promote energy cooperation between China and Russia.

In 2012 Industrial Information Agency conducted a 12-year retrospective study of the Russian energy market for China Petroleum Technology & Development Corporation (CPTDC), part of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC - China National Petroleum Corporation).  ;

In 2013, Rosneft and CNPC agreed to export 365 million tons of Russian oil to China over 25 years – in addition to the 300 million tons contracted in 2009  see link 

January 14, 2014 NOVATEK" closed a deal to sell a 20% stake in the Yamal LNG project   to CNPC Exploration & Development Company (CNODC), "daughter" China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).  see link

In May 2014, Gazprom and the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) signed an agreement for the sale of Russian gas through the "eastern" route (the Power of Siberia gas pipeline). The contract was concluded for a period of 30 years and involves the supply of 38 billion cubic meters to China. m. of gas per year. Start of deliveries — in December 2019. The deal became the basis for the construction of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline  see link 

November 08, 2014 The Board of Directors of the China-Russia Eastern Petrochemical Company (a joint venture of Rosneft OJSC and the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) at a meeting on November 8 in Beijing approved a feasibility study for the construction project of the Tianjin Oil Refinery in parts of the oil refining complex. see link

May 31, 2016 "Rosneft" and CNPC have optimized the feasibility study for the construction of a refinery in Tianjin. The Chinese version of optimization was chosen. This is a joint project of Rosneft and PetroChina (a CNPC structure). Launch of a plant with a capacity of 16 million tons. per year scheduled for the end of 2019 see link
