Vnesheconombank, being a development institution, provides investment support of important projects for Russia.

As of December 2013, Vnesheconombank's governing bodies have approved participation in financing 289 projects since the establishment of the Development Bank. The total investment amount is 3.9 trillion rubles,  the amount of participation of Vnesheconombank – 2.4 trillion rubles, of which the amount of provided funding  - 1 trillion rubles.

As part of financing, Vnesheconombank imposes increased requirements on the validity of calculations and forecasts. Industrial Information Agency research markets as part of the preparation and support of investment projects financed by Vnesheconombank:

In 2013, «KZSK-Silicon» conducted a market study of methylchlorosilanes.

"Fruitful cooperation on this issue with the Industrial Information Agency allowed Vnesheconombank to provide the necessary information about the market, protect the Project and obtain financing for the construction of the plant" in the amount of 7.8 billion rubles.  Official website of Vnesheconombank

In December 2013 - January 2014, the Industrial Information Agency conducted a study of the metalworking equipment market for the MTE Group, which confirmed the validity of the plans announced by MTE KOVOSVIT MAC.  See recommendation MTE KOVOSVIT< /p>

In May 2014,  as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Vnesheconombank, the Government of the Rostov Region, MTE Group LLC; and the company "KOVOSVIT MAS, a.s." signed a cooperation agreement.

Vnesheconombank monitors previously financed projects. One of          project for the development of the Verkhnekamskoye potassium-magnesium salt deposit. As part of project support for Verkhnekamsk Potash Company in the spring of 2014, a report was prepared on the forecast state of the global potash market.

Vnesheconombank participates in the development of single-industry towns. For the employment of personnel from closing enterprises in single-industry towns, the Industrial Information Agency completed a study of the market of aluminum alloys – as part of the creation of new production facilities financed by Vnesheconombank.
