Participation of the Industrial Information Agency in the history of Vasilievsky  Glass Factory

       Founded in 1901 Vasilievsky Glass Factory ("VSZ") - the largest plant in Russia for the production of 400 types of chemical glassware, consumer goods made of heat-resistant glass, chemical laboratory instruments,  it is also the only plant in the country that produces borosilicate heat-resistant glass.

Modernization of VAZ in 2006 together with "ARC International" increased the capacity of the enterprise to 1 million pieces of glassware per year.

Since 2008, the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan has become a shareholder of VZZ, with the support of which, as part of the investment project "BOR-1" an additional technological line was launched for the production of kitchen heat-resistant glassware under the Helpina brand, as well as heat-resistant glass lids.

In 2010, the Industrial Information Agency, commissioned by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a marketing study of the market for products made of heat-resistant glass (heat-resistant dishes). The study helped to assess the potential for import substitution of supplies of products made of heat-resistant (including development. 

As a result of the growth of competitiveness, the company's revenue increased four times, and the range of products - tripled.  

Vasilyevsky glass factory continues to diversify to enter the market of hatches for washing machines and turntables for microwave ovens.

In 2015, 100% of the shares of JSC "Vasilyevsky Glass Plant", owned by the investment and venture fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, were sold to LLC "GazTrade".
