Market research shows:
- a highly competitive situation in the plywood market,
- the volume and growth potential of demand for LVL glued laminated timber in Russia and Europe,
-growing demand for wood pellets in Europe.
Based on the research, the investor opted for the production of glulam and wood pellets (as a waste product).

In the second half of 2007, the plant was equipped with a line for the production of glued veneer beams.
The project of the plant was developed by Evergreen Engineering (USA), equipment was installed by SGS Industrial Services (Austria).
In March 2009, Taleon Terra started production of composite wood material LVL under the Ultralam brand at its plant in the Tver region, investing 200 million euro
Together with Russian employees, experts from the USA, Germany, and Finland participated in the construction of the plant.
2009-2010 dedicated to the promotion of glued laminated lumber and pellets to the European market, as a result, in 2009 revenue amounted to 321 million rubles, and in 2010 - 459 million rubles.
