The starting point of the project was the work initiated NPO Saturn in 2007 under the lot of Rosnauka "Development of new multifunctional nanocoatings and technology for their application".
This is how the idea of manufacturing a monolithic carbide tool with a nanostructured coating was born, which became the first project Rosnano.
In June 2008, the management of Rusnano, taking into account the specialized experience of the Industrial Information Agency, chose our company to carry out a study conducted to determine current and forecast market volumes.
In July-August 2008, a study prepared showed the size of the market and market potential.
In September 2008, the RUSNANO Supervisory Board decided to finance the project in the amount of 499.8 million rubles. from corporate funds.
On April 26, 2010, the first production plant for the production of monolithic carbide tools with a nanostructured coating was opened in the city of Rybinsk.
On June 18, 2010, Vladimir Putin visited ZAO New Instrumental Solutions as the first RUSNANO plant.
On April 28, 2012, NPO Saturn acquired a controlling stake in the New Instrumental Solutions company.
At the end of May 2017, it became known about the sale of Rusnano’s share in production. 49.98% of the shares were bought by the co-owner of NIR, NPO Saturn.
