Assistance in the creation of the first production of ethyl tert-butyl ether in Russia

In 2012,  "New Energy Projects" started preparing a business plan to create an enterprise for the production of ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETBE) – a component of motor gasoline that improves combustion of the fuel-air mixture.

As part of the preparation of the business plan, the company "New Energy Projects" in November 2012, chose Industrial Information Agency to study the market for butane as a feedstock for ETBE.

After the preparation of the business plan was completed in October 2013, an agreement was signed on the construction of a petrochemical plant with an investment of 740 million euros by the Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Energy Projects company. Alexey Frolov.

In March 2014, the Industrial Information Agency updated New Energy Projects for the company butane and isobutane market information.

Due to the depreciation of the ruble and the rising cost of foreign equipment, the payback period of the project increased, so the project was closed.
