In order to comply with the requirements of license agreements (according to the said resolution), Rosneft Oil Company adopted a gas program that provides for an increase in the use of associated petroleum gas up to 95%. See. link
As part of the implementation of the gas program, Rosneft has planned the construction of a gas treatment and processing unit (GTU) in the industrial zone of Neftekumsk, although oil fields in the North Caucasus are at the final stage of development.

Due to a number of factors (insufficient demand for dimethyl ether in Russia, the risk of a decline in world oil prices, low unit capacity, and others), Rosneft Oil Company adjusted the configuration of the plant for the production of liquefied hydrocarbon gas, stable gas gasoline and dry stripped gas for delivery according to the plan into the Gazprom gas transmission system.
Taking into account the changes in the production program, in April 2015, Rosneft announced a tender to carry out a feasibility study for the construction of the Neftekumsk gas treatment and processing unit.
In July - August 2015, the Industrial Information Agency provided the necessary information on the hydrocarbon gas market and a long-term forecast necessary for the feasibility study to be carried out by the winner of the tender.
In September 2015. the preparation of feasibility study of the construction of the 2nd stage of the Neftekumskaya gas treatment and processing unit was completed.
