In the period from 2010 to April 2016 "Holding company "Composite" managed the production assets of the State Corporation "Rosatom" OAO NPK Khimpromengineering (Moscow) and its subsidiaries – Argon LLC (Balakovo, Saratov Region), Plant of Carbon and Composite Materials LLC (Chelyabinsk).
In the year of obtaining the management of enterprises, the Holding Company "Composite" commissioned Industrial Information Agency
Unbiased information and effective management allowed us to almost double the output at Balakovo during the management of the plant.
The experience gained in managing enterprises allowed HC "Composite" study the carbon fiber and carbon fiber market in depth.
By order of the State Corporation "Rosatom" HC "Composite" created the plant «Alabuga-fiber».
The capacity of the first production line was 1700 tons per year of carbon fibers.
Technological start-up of the plant took place in 2014, and operational - in May 2015.
To the HC "Composite" company group included:
- developer of technology for obtaining PAN precursor and carbon fiber (Research Center Composite)
- manufacturer of carbon fiber (Composite-fiber)
- manufacturers of fabrics and prepregs (Prepreg-SKM and Prepreg-Dubna)
- technology developer and manufacturer of carbon fiber products (Nanotechnological Center for Composites and Composite Products)
